Installation on Windows:
1 - Check if Java 1.6 or higher is installed e.g. by typing java -version in a windows commandbox.
2 - If Java is not yet installed go to the Sun site and install jre 1.6 or higher.
3 - Download and install ExifTool.
4 - Important: rename or copy exiftool(-k).exe to exiftool.exe.
5 - Download PhotoLabeler from here and unzip the file.

If everything went well you can now start the tool by running
java -jar PhotoLabeler-0.0.2.jar or on windows: photolabeler.bat, from the directory where you unzipped the zip file.

As PhotoLabeler is written in Java you can run it on other platforms like Linux but I have not tried so myself.

IMPORTANT
You can use the tool freely but be warned that you use it at your own risk. I advise you to always work on copies of your original photo's. There is no support, but I might look at my mail at irregular times . . .
Version 0.0.2 is a pre-release and a log4j window will appear on startup which you can close or minimize.
