| 1 | - | Check if Java 1.6 or higher is installed e.g. by typing java -version in a windows commandbox. |
| 2 | - | If Java is not yet installed go to the Sun site and install jre 1.6 or higher. |
| 3 | - | Download and install ExifTool. |
| 4 | - | Important: rename or copy exiftool(-k).exe to exiftool.exe. |
| 5 | - | Download PhotoLabeler from here and unzip the file. |
If everything went well you can now start the tool by running
java -jar PhotoLabeler-0.0.2.jar or on windows: photolabeler.bat, from
the directory where you unzipped the zip file.
See help for an example on the usage of PhotoLabeler.
IMPORTANTYou can use the tool freely but be warned that you use it at your own risk. I advise you to always work on copies of your original photo's. There is no support, but I might look at my mail at irregular times . . .
Version 0.0.2 is a pre-release and a log4j window will appear on startup which you can close or minimize.
